This is my favorites place to start the week. I enjoy the very friendly service, delicious sambusa and honeycomb bread, the iced lotus latte, and the blue lagoon or mint mist (sooo refreshing on a hot day) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An excellent spot to study, work, visit with friends and family, or just come to grab a to-go cup. A real Kalamazoo treat located conveniently next to WMU.

I discovered this great Yemen coffee shop today! Can't recommend this one enough! Great vibe! I had the spanish coffee. It is two shots of espresso, condensed milk and regular milk. (I wasn't feeling adventurous enough today to try a Yemen coffee.). Delicious and not overly sweet. The Dubai chocolate croissant was fantastic! This is right near Western Michigan. You should definitely check it out if you're in the area.

Had the mojito during my visit and it was excellent. Refreshing, well made, and perfect for a warm day. The ambiance was cozy and inviting. Looking forward to coming back.

I LOVE Shibam! I definitely prefer it over most places for a sweet treat and good drinks. Their matcha is yummy! Great service, beautiful location and friendly faces!

Went in around 3pm on a Monday and there was just one guy working with hardly any other customers — and he still seemed a bit overwhelmed. He was clearly trying his best and was genuinely nice, but taking my order was a bit tough because there were some communication/understanding hiccups. I honestly felt bad for him because it didn’t seem like his fault at all — more like a staffing/support issue. That said, the presentation of the food and coffee was really solid (you can see it in the pictures), and everything looked put together nicely. Only downside: prices are a little on the high side for what you get.
